Let’s Share What’s Happening!
City of STEM promotes opportunities throughout the month of April to inspire learners of all ages in Greater Los Angeles to chase their curiosity, connect with others, and celebrate the joy and beauty of science, making, technology, and engineering. Help us populate every single day of the April calendar by planning and submitting your event. The April calendar will be widely promoted.
Outside of April, City of STEM continues to promote STEM and Maker events throughout the year. Events submitted to our calendar may also be featured on our social media and in our newsletter, helping connect your event with more people in the community.
Events include interactive workshops, hands-on learning challenges, meetups for shared interests, access to museums, and other STEM and Making experiences across Southern California.
How to Submit Your Community Event
Follow these steps to submit your event through Maker Alley.
1. Visit the Calendar of Events tab on our website or click the button below to go directly to Maker Alley.
2. Enter your event details. If your event repeats, include the frequency. Select the appropriate tags and upload an image.
3. Submit your event!
